New Member of the Family

Hello, I am Kaow the twelve week young mini flop! I like to jump really high over the pen Sarah made for me, but no worries, I am potty trained.

The guinea pigs haven't noticed me yet, I feel like maybe they don't care about me. Owell, I am not supposed to play with them yet anyway since I am in quarantine.

Zac called me the 'Halloween Bunny', because the pattern on my face looks like a skull.

Winta'

Now that it's Winter, Sarah has decided to work on crocheting cozy pigloos for Punk and I. As a wonderful break from studying for finals, it also benefits us. Every now and then Sarah and Zac leave the heat off in the apartment in an attempt to save money.
Oh, by the way, I'm almost as big as Punk now!...almost... Where is that silly growth spurt?

Note, Zac is also ready for the winter.

Today, Monty and I had the opportunity to play outside on the balcony. Sarah set up so many obstacles that Monty and I were overwhelmed. It was such a nice day, and there was a slight breeze. I hadn't smelled fresh air for awhile.

ART

Here is some of Sarah's artwork. The top piece is just weird, and the bottom one is of her first guinea pig, Speedy. Maybe if i try to look cute enough, Sarah will draw me too!

Sarah has been talking about being a teacher at Fulbright in Austria. That would mean that I get to come with! 'Possibly an adventure? I dunno what will happen with Zac though. Poor guy, might have to stay in the U.S.

cage setup

I heard rumors about another, newer cage setup. Sarah really likes to change our habitat; almost every week! I think she does it to avoid doing homework. Sooner or later, she'll realize that all that avoided work catches up to her. I've been glancing over at the Aero Garden. I can't see much yet, but the way Zac sticks his head under the machine to stare at something makes me think the herbs are sprouting. I can't wait! The store bought parsley is not as fresh as it should be.

Sarah came home today after 9 hours of work. She looked immensely fatigued, but that didn't stop her from spending time with Punk and I. She grunted in disgust as she lifted the hidey house to find an excessive amount of poop piled up in one corner and sticking together with the help of urine. When she lifted me up to set me on her lap this time around, I didn't try to run off. I'm used to all the many scary noises now. When I hear Zac and Sarah stomping into the living room it is comforting more so than frightening. I anticipate receiving a treat. Oh, I've decided I like carrots, but red bell pepper still has an awkward zing to it.

Life with Sarah

Hey there, I'm Monty! 'Quick as abunnywink, and agile. I only like to eat lettuce, kale, spinach, hay, and pellets. Those other vegetables that aren't green scare me! Punk always tries to snatch my food, because he eats faster than me. Sarah makes sure that I get my serving of green veggies a day though. Even though she is so nice to me, I don't quite trust her yet, and like to run away when I see her gargantuan hands reaching for me. I enjoy squeaking and oinking, as well as popcorning around the cage. I didn't get to do this as much while I was at Tracy's, because I was a part of the surprise litter. The cage was too small for me, papa-pig, and my brothers. Although I miss my family, I'm glad Sarah adopted me.
